préparation d'un numéro spécial de la revue Angles sur "digital subjectivities" 2017-2018
This issue of Angles, the online journal published by the SAES, aims to examine the evolution of subjectivities and our sense of self in response to digital technologies, apparatuses and practices.
Wearable technology and apps promise to write our diaries for us. All smartphones measure our movements and location, and many devices do much more. Apps visualize and graph our days using this data that is gathered about us. This presentation will discuss how current automated diaries rewrite our idea of the subject in a digital age, and how they create new regimes of time, where we become subject to the measurements of our machines.
